Creating a Sacred Energy Space requires more than just physical action- It requires conscious intention of action.

• Every thought and action we have has consequence.

• So it is helpful when creating a sacred space to do so from a personal space of peace, love and joy.

We are each light beings of vibrating energy of light and colour......

• Our physical bodies vibrate at a speed seen by the naked eye,

• Our higher or lighter light being bodies (aura) vibrate at speeds that are unseen by most people but this spiritual energy can be captured by special cameras (Kirlian photography)

There is so much more to us than at first can be seen.....
We interact with each other and the energy that surrounds us, leaving an imprint, temporarily of our energy and light.

Have you ever noticed yourself feeling tired or uncomfortable when in large crowds, picture theatres or busy shopping centres- this can be due to an overload of heavy energy from mixing with so many different energy streams; fluorescent lighting can often have this negative effect.

It can be helpful to take a shower, or have a salt bath (try 2 cups of Epsom salts in a warm bath) to refresh and renew our energy fields and realign them back to our own source thus taking care of our personal sacred space.

Refresh & Renew the space around you....
The same thing can happen with our home, office space, studio and place of business. However it is not so easy to give our home a salt bath, so here are a few tried and tested methods of cleansing and clearing spaces.

• We call upon the different elements of fire, water, air, earth, sound and sacred symbolism to re balance and align the spiritual energy of our living, working space. • During this process we call on all of our senses- sight, touch, sound, scent, and intuition.

Now we get down to the business of clearing the space of negative/heavy energy, then we will fill the area with good ‘chi’ /essence.

Here are some steps for you to consider; Prepare and Cleanse, Invoke and Preserve.

Prepare

Ask yourself, “What is the purpose or intent of the clearing?”
The answer to this will affect your outcome and the desired result. So sit with this for a while, so that your energy can be focused in the right direction for you.

Do you wish to create an uplifting sacred space for your family and friends full of light, love and laughter, a safe and serene space that has a calming affect on all the occupants or a space that inspires you to achieve and create your life’s purpose?

Whatever the desired result, it is YOUR INTENTION that affects the outcome.

So! Give it some thought.

Research.....
Write down ideas, make a scrap book, and consider what items you may have stored away that may be of use in the quest.

If your purpose is to create a spiritual space that exudes abundance and prosperity, you could make a list of what items you have that make you feel abundant, perhaps you can change things around maybe it is time some things moved on (dare I say tossed out) particularly if they are linked to unpleasant times or times of hardship.

Make the tough decisions now, to make the change.

Do you wish to travel to new and exotic places? Try collecting some travel brochures to leave lying on the coffee table.

You get the drift- gather, collect, consider……..dream.

Now!....
You can set about your task, knowing where you are headed and imbuing all that you do from this point forward with this intention.

Cleanse & Purify

These dormant energies can have an adverse affect on the members of the household. So, best to move them on, so we have a clean vessel to begin with.

Use any of the following methods and any order to break up the dormant energy.

Fire

Candle-Light a candle in the room you are clearing. It will neutralize stale and stagnant energy that has been released whilst carrying on these cleansing processes. Beeswax and Earth friendly Soya candles are now available. You may even investigate the power of salt lamps. As always take care with naked flame, never leave unattended and place in a safe are.


Water

FlickedA bowl of spring water that has been energized with your blessings of intention can be flicked around the room using a twig, herbs or flowers.


Bowl A bowl of water again energetically charged with the power of your blessings and intention (sea salt can also be added) can be placed in the centre of the space you are clearing. The water may become cloudy once it has done its job of absorbing the negative energy, so flush down the drain with plenty of fresh water, rinse and dry bowl in sunlight.


Spray- The room can be misted with a fine spray of water to which a couple of drops of pine oil has been added.

Air

Smudging- A traditional Native American method of space clearing the smoke of various herbs in a ritual. Herbs such as sage and cedar can be used to dispel negative energy. These herbs can be used in the form of smudge sticks (a bundle held together by string and available in alternative health stores). First light the herbs then once ignited, blow out the flame and allow the bundle to continue to smoke. It is a good idea to hold a bowl under the bundle to catch any sparks as you move around (never leave unattended as herbs can continue smouldering for a long time after what seems like being extinguished). When finished smudging tap firmly in bowl to extinguish and set aside some where safe until you are completely sure they have gone out. Loose herbs can also be used in a small fireproof bowl and a feather can be used to flick and disperse the cleansing smoke.


Incense sticks and cones can be used to freshen and renew your space. Choose your favourite scent that will suit the clearing. Say a prayer of intent as you light your incense and again take care and never leave unattended.

Earth

Salt Since Roman times and beyond salt has been used for its cleansing properties and for dispelling negativity. It is recognized by all cultures throughout the world for its remarkable healing qualities attributed to its crystalline properties. We live in a time with increased energy vibrations about and around us, salt can be of great value to realign our bodies with these new energy streams.
Use natural salt, sea salt or rock salt (not iodized). Place salt in a bowl and whilst holding ask for Mother Earth to imbue your salt with her blessings.Here is just one powerful way to use salt.
Salt Energy Vortex-First grind salt to a powdery fine texture in your mortar and pestle. Stand in the centre of the room and working in a clockwise direction toss salt around with wide generous arm movements in all directions creating a whirl of energy. The air and all the difficult to get to places will be cleansed and purified.



Sound

Drums, bells, gongs, Wind chimes, Singing (Tibetan) bowl, Crystal bowls, Clapping, Toning (using your voice) Use the loudest to begin with moving through to the finest and softest vibration.

Invoking

Centre yourself, breathe slowly and release all stress and tension, allow your aura to expand and fill the entire space (imagine your energy entering each room or area of the space you are clearing). This is a time you can again offer prayers to sanctify the space and give thanks for the assistance given to you.

Fire

Candles of different colours for different purposes and spaces can be used. Long burning 7 day candles can be used. Oil lamps and even fireplace fires can all be used for this dedication and invocation process. As always take care when using open flame.

Water

To revitalize, refresh and renew; a water spray bottle containing a few drops of Flower Remedies can be sprayed around the room. Homeopathic remedies can be used in the same way.


Aromatherapy oils can also be added to a water mist – again different oils for different purposes and spaces.


Air

Aromatherapy oils can be used to uplift, assist concentration and heal the wounded soul and body. Vaporizers, diffusers, scented candles, incense sticks and cones, sprays, perfumes, fresh flowers and pot-pourri are just a few ways to introduce this powerful energy into your home.

Earth

Crystals especially Rock Clear Quartz is a powerful way to bring in new intention for your home. Crystals can be programmed to generate a particular energy throughout your space.



Sound

All the instruments of sound used for clearing can also be used for invoking and blessing your space. Try playing chanting from Tibetan monks or other sacred music.


Mystical Symbols

The power of symbols and numerology has been recognized and used in all cultures throughout the world for thousands of years. You may wish to investigate further symbols suitable for your use to visualize and invoke their power into your home.

Spiritual Images, pictures and photos of your spiritual teachers, ascended masters and angels, of loving sacred imagery, charkas, mandalas, energy vortex mandalas and rainbows of colour can all be used to imbue and fill your home with loving vibration and revitalizing energy.
