Earth Wisdom

The Earth is a self regulating body, that has a breath and its own pulse. It holds an immense store of wisdom and knowledge within its mantle and its heart beats at its core.

Energetically, we are connected to the earth through its pulse. It senses us and knows us, through the many kingdoms that make up its being.

The Mineral Kingdom
The Crystal Kingdom
The Plant Kingdom to name a few, as well as
The Elemental Kingdom- Earth, Fire, Air and Water.

As 'modern' Man moves away from being deeply connected to the Earth, we risk forgetting the very 'being' that nurtures us and is capable of sustaining our lives.

We have lost the ability to read the language of the Earth,to know the plants that would nourish and heal us and where and how to plant and harvest them, to know the signs of changes coming that would threaten us, the ancient knowledge of the 'old' races, the natives peoples of continents such as Australia, Asia and the Americas.

We, as the race of 'man' then wonder why we feel no joy in our achievements, why we suffer with disease and poverty and hunger. Why all this, when the earth is bountiful, when water showers down from the heavens and the trees provide the oxygen for our breath!

Understand, that no matter how many high-rise buildings or miles of concrete and tar we amass as a species, or how many minerals or oil we mine, nothing will assure our survival as much as attuning our ourselves to the heart of the 'mother' planet that nurtures us.

How can you buy and sell the sky
The warmth of the land?
The idea is strange to us
If we do not own the freshness of the air
and the sparkle of the water, How can you buy them?
Every part of the earth is sacred to my people
Every shinning pines needle,
Every sand shore,
Every mist in the dark woods,
Every clearing, and humming insect is holy
In the memory of my people
The sap which courses through the trees
carries the memories.
